Air Conditioner
Current GE window air conditioners are outdated and inconsistent among sizes. This project aimed to streamline appearances while incorporating more modern design elements than what’s currently available.
Design Inspiration
Prototyping and Manufacturing
3D printed alternative frame shapes, explored different grill designs, looked at darker outlet louver, considered flush cap touch controls. Resolved color matching issues between parts, improve user interface and develop intake grill mechanism.
